For example, the song titles of the Japanese pop hits of September, 1995, include the following: Love Love Love,

Aisuru Koto (About Loving People), Love Phantom, Kurayami de Kissu (Kiss in the Darkness), and Anatato Ita Jikan (The Past Time with You).

Interestingly, Japanese people like English words inserted into a Japanese text. In the text of the Joy to the Love, which also was one of hit songs in September, 1995, the rap section in English (indicated in italics) makes this piece sounds American. Japanese young people, who have some English language training, like the sound of English, although few of them understand the meaning of these English words.

The meanings of the English words are not listener's primal concern. The only thing that matters is that they are in English, because the sound of English appeals to young people. That is why there are some song titles in English which hardly make sense. Joy to the Love, Peace of My Wish, Lady Generation, and Body Feels Exit are just a few examples.

Enka titles and texts do not use English words, because elder people do not understand English words.
